The Verge previously reported that it is hard to tell what role AI played and whether the mRNA vaccine caused the improvement, because Rosie received the vaccine alongside another therapy. Gamgee is backed by Y Combinator, a well-known startup incubator. The company says it is recruiting for its first clinical trials in Australia, with a waitlist elsewhere. On its website, Gamgee claims about 75 percent tumor reduction in its “first documented case,” while noting this is based on a single case and timing can vary. Prices are not listed.
