Hark says its new Handoff tool can click and type on websites to finish tasks like shopping and bookings, and it will launch by end of summer.

Hark, a startup that raised $700 million in Series A funding in May, announced a new product called Hark Handoff. The company says Handoff can open websites, click buttons, and type information to finish tasks that people usually do by hand.
Hark says Handoff can work even on sites that do not offer an “API” (a built-in way for apps to officially connect). Instead, it reads the page like a person would, using the layout and what it sees on the screen, then decides what to click or type next.
The company says this could be used for things like ordering food, booking travel, reserving a restaurant table, shopping for essentials, filing returns, or doing research across multiple sources. In a demo video, CEO Brett Adcock showed Handoff taking a request to build a flower bouquet, including handling vague instructions like “some of the florist’s choice.” The demo only showed part of the process, so the full reliability is not clear from the preview.
Hark also claims Handoff is faster and cheaper than competing tools. It is opening a waitlist now and says it plans to release the product by the end of the summer.
More companies are trying to build “computer-use agents,” which are like a helper who can do errands inside your browser instead of just answering questions. If these tools work well, they could save people time on repetitive online chores. But real-world performance, especially on tricky websites, will matter more than short demos.
