Galileo

Galileo is a web and API observability and evaluation platform for AI teams building, deploying, and operating generative AI applications and agents. Cisco completed its acquisition of Galileo in 2026, and the platform is now offered as Splunk Agent Observability; galileo.ai remains live.

It supports an eval-to-guardrail lifecycle so teams can debug issues in development and enforce policies in production.

• Evaluations with 20+ out-of-the-box evaluators for RAG, agents, safety, and security, plus custom metrics that auto-tune from live feedback and subject-matter-expert annotations.
• Production monitoring of prompts, responses, token usage, cost, and latency across the AI stack.
• Runtime guardrails that block harmful responses, prompt injection, and PII leakage, with eval scores able to control agent actions, tool access, and escalation paths.

Paid Splunk Agent Observability starts at $100 per month per 1.2 million spans, billed annually, including 500 million Luna tokens and 5 Luna fine-tuning runs a year, in Observability Cloud or self-hosted deployments; larger plans are quoted by sales.

Notable for distilling LLM-as-judge evaluators into compact Luna models that monitor 100% of traffic at lower latency and cost, plus native support for frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, and the OpenAI Agents SDK.
