Great for technical research and staying current. I use it to understand new libraries, compare frameworks, and get quick overviews of topics. The sources are usually reliable, though I always verify critical information.

Perplexity has replaced Google for 80% of my searches. Getting cited answers with sources saves so much time. The Pro search feature that asks clarifying questions before answering is brilliant for complex research queries.

Best text-to-speech I've used by far. The multilingual support is impressive and the voices sound natural with proper intonation. Pricing can add up quickly at scale, but the quality justifies it for professional content.

The voice quality is insane — listeners genuinely can't tell it's AI-generated. I use it for YouTube voiceovers and podcast intros. The voice cloning feature is eerily accurate with just a few minutes of sample audio.

Decent for basic grammar but the AI rewrite suggestions sometimes strip the personality from my writing. It's best used as a safety net rather than a writing partner. The plagiarism checker is a nice bonus on premium.

Good at catching errors I miss after staring at text too long. The premium suggestions for clarity and engagement are genuinely helpful. I wish the free tier included more of the advanced features though.

Essential tool for anyone who writes professionally. The tone detection and rewrite suggestions have noticeably improved my email communication. The browser extension works seamlessly across Gmail, Docs, and Notion.

Great for full-stack development. I use it for React, Node, and Python projects. The inline diff suggestions are intuitive and the codebase-aware chat is genuinely useful for understanding unfamiliar code. Worth the subscription.

Really solid AI code editor. The composer feature for multi-file changes is powerful. Sometimes it gets confused with very large monorepos, but for typical projects it's excellent. The VS Code foundation means all my extensions still work.

Best investment I've made as a developer this year. The multi-file editing feature saves me hours of refactoring time. It understands project context better than any other AI coding tool I've tried.

Cursor has completely changed how I code. The tab completion feels like it reads my mind, and the chat feature that understands my entire codebase is incredible. I've tried GitHub Copilot and Cody — Cursor is ahead by a mile.

As a freelance designer, Midjourney has become indispensable for rapid prototyping visual concepts with clients. I can iterate on ideas in minutes instead of hours. The style consistency across generations is remarkable.

Beautiful outputs but the Discord-only workflow is clunky. I wish they had a proper web interface. That said, once you learn the prompt engineering, the results are consistently impressive. Great for mood boards and brand exploration.

The artistic quality is unmatched. I use Midjourney for concept art, marketing visuals, and social media graphics. V6 is a massive leap forward — text rendering actually works now and the photorealism is stunning.

Excellent for pair programming. I use it alongside my IDE and it catches subtle bugs that linters miss. The Artifacts feature for generating standalone code snippets and documents is brilliant.
