The company is offering five tiers: Free, Plus ($8 per month), Premium ($30), Super ($100), and Ultra ($200). As you pay more, you get higher “usage caps,” which are like monthly limits on how much you can use the AI features.

The Free tier includes limited chat and “agent” use. An agent is an AI helper that can take more steps on its own, like following a short set of instructions instead of answering one question. The company also said you need Premium or higher to use the newest versions of Grok.

Existing customers can switch in their X subscription settings, or keep what they have. The upgrade option is rolling out gradually, so not everyone will see it right away.
