Meta released two new AI models, Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full. They are available to Muse Code subscribers, with Wonder also offered through Meta’s API.
In short: Meta has released two new AI models, called Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, for people who subscribe to its Muse Code service.
Meta announced two new AI models, Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full. An AI model is the engine behind an AI tool, like the “brain” that helps it answer questions and write or summarize text.
Meta says the models are available starting today for Muse Code subscribers. The company also said Muse Wonder, the smaller of the two, can be accessed through the Meta Model API. An API is a way for other apps to plug into a service (like using a power outlet to run different devices).
Meta claims these new models can compete with leading AI models from companies like OpenAI and Anthropic. It based that claim on its own internal tests using common benchmark tests, which are standard scoreboards used in the AI industry. Meta did not share independent results, and it did not clearly say how the models compare to Google’s Gemini 4 Argon.
Meta also said it plans to use Wonder to power its Muse AI agent over time, starting with subscribers. An AI agent is software that can take actions for you, more like a helper than a simple chatbot. Meta did not give a detailed timeline.
For regular people, this mainly matters because Meta is trying to improve the AI features it may bring into its products. If Muse gets upgraded with these models, users could see better answers, fewer mistakes, and more useful automated help. It also shows competition is still intense among big AI companies, which can affect pricing, access, and how fast new features roll out.
