Qualcomm and NEURA Robotics partner to use IQ10 chips in robots

Qualcomm and NEURA Robotics announced a collaboration to bring Qualcomm’s Dragonwing IQ10 processors into NEURA’s future robots.

About 3 hours ago•Product Launches

In short: Qualcomm and NEURA Robotics say they will work together to build new robots using Qualcomm’s Dragonwing IQ10 Series processors.

What happened

Qualcomm introduced its Dragonwing IQ10 Series processors at CES 2026. Qualcomm says the IQ10 is built for industrial robots like autonomous mobile robots, which are warehouse robots that drive themselves, and for full-size humanoid robots.

On March 9, 2026, NEURA Robotics and Qualcomm announced a strategic collaboration. NEURA said it plans to integrate Qualcomm technology, including IQ10, into its robots. The companies described this work as focused on “physical AI,” meaning AI that controls a body that moves and works in the real world.

Qualcomm says IQ10 can run vision-language-action models. That is a type of AI that tries to connect what a robot sees, what you tell it in normal words, and the actions it takes, like picking up a box after you say “move these to shelf three.” Qualcomm also said other robotics partners, including Figure, are adopting IQ10 for general-purpose humanoid robots.

NEURA has shown several robot prototypes, including a humanoid called 4NE1 and a quadruped robot. At CES, those prototypes were shown using NVIDIA technology for “reasoning” (the part that helps decide what to do next). NEURA and Qualcomm did not confirm which specific NEURA robot models will use IQ10 first, or when they will ship.

Why it matters

Robots that can understand simple spoken instructions could be easier to use in warehouses, factories, and hospitals. This partnership suggests NEURA wants more of the robot’s “brain” to run on the robot itself (like having the instructions stored and processed inside the machine, not sent elsewhere), but the real impact depends on when products arrive and how well they perform in real workplaces.
