Otter now lets business users search meeting notes alongside Gmail, Drive, Notion, Jira, and Salesforce. It also launched a Windows app for botless notes.

Otter, a popular meeting notes app, announced a new “enterprise search” feature for business users. In simple terms, it can look for answers across both your Otter meeting notes and other work tools you use every day.
With the update, users can connect Otter to Gmail, Google Drive, Notion, Jira, and Salesforce. Then they can ask Otter questions that pull from all those sources, like using one search bar for multiple filing cabinets. Otter said it will add support soon for Microsoft Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Slack.
Otter also said you can take action from the same place. For example, you can push a meeting summary into Notion or draft an email in Gmail based on what was discussed.
The company redesigned its AI assistant so it is available across the app at all times. It can respond based on what you are looking at on screen, like a specific meeting.
Separately, Otter is launching a Windows app that can capture meeting notes without joining the meeting as a bot. This is sometimes called “botless” capture, meaning it records from the computer’s audio instead of sending an extra participant into the call.
Many workplaces now spread information across email, documents, ticketing tools, and meeting notes. Otter is trying to save time by letting people search and reuse that information from one place, instead of jumping between apps.
