Floqer, a startup that automates sales prospect research, says it plans to open-source its core technology in early 2027 after security reviews.
In short: Floqer says it will release the underlying code for its AI-based customer research database as open-source in early 2027, after security checks.
Floqer is a startup that sells software for business-to-business sales and marketing teams. Its tool collects and updates information about potential customers, like companies and the people who work there.
The company told TechCrunch it plans to open-source the technology behind its “autonomous customer knowledge database.” Open-source means the code is published for others to view, use, and modify, like sharing a recipe instead of only selling the finished meal. Floqer said it is aiming for an early 2027 release, but only after security reviews.
Floqer is presenting at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 on the Startup Battlefield stage. The company also said it has passed $1.2 million in annual recurring revenue, and that revenue grew about tenfold over the past year.
Floqer’s product uses AI agents, which are software helpers that can carry out tasks on their own, to research sales prospects. It pulls data from more than 100 outside sources and uses a “waterfall” method to find verified contact details, checking one provider after another until it finds a working email or phone number. It also monitors the web for changes, like when someone switches jobs or a company raises funding.
Sales teams often spend hours hunting for up to date info across Google, LinkedIn, and company websites. Floqer says customers have reported cutting that prospecting time by as much as 70%, and open-sourcing the tech could let more companies host the data themselves and tailor the tool to their needs.
