AiRP

AiRP is a web-based AI roleplay platform for readers and creators who want to play through human-written roleplay stories. You pick a story, play your own character (called a Star), and an AI model voices the rest of the cast while you shape what happens next through conversation.

Key capabilities include:

• Story discovery: browse 29 genre categories (for example Fantasy, Romance, Sci-Fi, Horror, Thriller and Slice of Life) and filter by point of view, cast and content warnings, or search titles, taglines and openings. Reading and browsing need no account.
• Character chat inside scenarios: the author writes the setting, cast and opening, and you reply as your character.
• AI model choice: models are provided through OpenRouter from several providers. The default is MiniMax M3, with options such as Claude, GLM and DeepSeek, and you can switch models mid-chat. The picker shows each model's credit cost.
• Chat memory: older turns are summarized into memories you can edit or add to, and a context setting can be raised from Standard (32k) to Extended (64k), which doubles reply cost once a chat passes 32k.
• Creator tools: build a world and cast, publish it for others to play, and import or export stories as Character Card V2 files (import also accepts V1 and V3, as .png or .json), including from tools such as SillyTavern and Chub.
• Content controls: stories with sexual content must carry an 18+ label and are hidden by default until an adult enables them in Settings; users can hide tags and report content, and AiRP says reports are reviewed within 24 hours.

Pricing: Freemium. Playing uses credits. Every account gets 50 free credits per day (reset at midnight UTC, no rollover), and you can earn more by connecting Discord, publishing public stories and receiving favourites or qualifying comments. More credits can be bought. A membership gives 150 premium credits a day (banking up to 525) plus 500 permanent credits when you first join; its price is not stated on the pages reviewed.

Privacy and rules: chats are private, and AiRP says it does not sell user information or use it for training and chooses models that don't train on chats. The rules prohibit sexual content involving minors or underage-looking characters, bestiality, blood incest, nude images, hate speech, pictures of real people and stolen work. AiRP is for fictional roleplay only, so bots offering self-help, health, therapy or other real-life advice are not allowed.
