Sift says its 2026 Winter Release will help manufacturers validate tests, spot anomalies early, and connect factory build data back to engineering teams.
In short: Sift says its 2026 Winter Release will make it easier for advanced manufacturers to compare test runs, find problems faster, and trace results back to the exact parts that were built.
Sift, a company building data infrastructure for advanced manufacturing, is developing software that collects and organizes telemetry data, meaning the sensor and test readings produced by machines and products. The goal is to help factories make real-time decisions, meet compliance needs, and connect engineering teams with what is happening on the manufacturing floor.
In its 2026 Winter Release, Sift is adding “Family Data,” a feature that checks whether a new test run looks like past “Golden Tests,” which are trusted historical test results (like comparing today’s output to a known good sample). The release also adds tools that line up data events from different sources and show statistical confidence bounds, which are simple ranges that help flag unusual behavior early.
Sift is also introducing Sift Test Results. This can ingest, meaning pull in, data from common test tools like NI TestStand or from Python scripts. It then makes measurements searchable across part numbers and “as-built” configurations, meaning the exact version of a product as it was actually assembled.
Separately, Sift says it is working in a closed-loop integration with Manufacturo, with data flowing both ways. The idea is to replace scattered spreadsheets and manual logs with a single, searchable system designed to support strict rules like ITAR (US export controls for sensitive defense-related data) and GovCloud hosting.
When products like aircraft parts or robots fail, the cost can be high. Tools that make test results easier to compare and trace back to specific builds can help teams find issues sooner and document what happened without digging through disconnected files.
