Perceptron was founded in November 2024 by Armen Aghajanyan and Akshat Shrivastava, who previously worked at Meta’s AI research group. TechCrunch reports the startup recently raised $21 million in funding led by Bessemer Venture Partners.
Robots are already used in many warehouses, but they often struggle when layouts change or tasks are not repetitive. Tools like Isaac 0.5 are part of a push to make robots more adaptable in real workplaces, which could affect how goods are moved, sorted, and inspected.
