German startup Passionfroot raised $15M led by Insight Partners. It plans a New York office, more hiring, and new tools for brand and creator marketing work.
In short: Passionfroot, a German company that connects business-focused creators with brands, raised $15 million to grow in the United States.
Passionfroot said it raised $15 million in a Series A funding round led by Insight Partners. A “Series A” is an early major investment round, usually used to hire staff and expand into new markets.
The company runs a marketplace, which works like a matchmaker. Brands can find creators who make business content, for example posts on LinkedIn, newsletters, or podcast videos. Passionfroot says it has worked with clients such as ElevenLabs, Figma, Replit, Framer, and Gamma.
With this new funding, co-founder and CEO Jen Phan is moving to New York and the company plans to open a US office there. Passionfroot also plans to open an office in São Paulo and grow beyond its current team of 15 people.
Since its last fundraise in 2024, Passionfroot has also released an AI agent called Zest. An “AI agent” is software that can take steps for you, like a helpful assistant that can plan and track work. Passionfroot says Zest helps brands create, run, and monitor marketing campaigns, and can also suggest creators who fit a brand’s goals.
As more software products are launched quickly, brands are looking for trusted voices to explain what they do and why they matter. Tools like Passionfroot aim to make it easier for companies to find the right creators, pay them across countries, and track whether the marketing spend is working.
