Noscroll is a new service that reads X and other sites for you, then sends text message digests and alerts so you do not have to keep scrolling.
In short: Noscroll has launched a paid AI texting bot that reads your online feeds and sends you summaries and alerts.
Noscroll is a new startup that says it can reduce “doomscrolling,” which means endlessly scrolling through social media and bad news. Instead of you checking feeds all day, the service watches them for you and texts you when something important comes up.
To start, you text Noscroll at (415) 583-7721. It then asks you to connect your X account so it can see what you like, bookmark, and follow. The company says you can also tell the bot, in plain language, what topics you care about and what you want to ignore.
Noscroll does not only look at X. According to its founder, Nadav Hollander, it can also pull in information from news sites, blogs, Reddit, Hacker News, Substack, and other sources. Think of it like having a personal assistant who skims a stack of newspapers and messages you the headlines you asked for (and skips the rest).
The service sends digests by text on a schedule you choose, like weekly updates or multiple alerts per day. Each digest includes links and a short summary, and the bot can text you immediately for breaking news.
Noscroll costs $9.99 per month, with a free sample digest and a 7 day trial.
Many people feel stuck between wanting to stay informed and feeling worse after spending too much time on feeds. Tools like Noscroll point to a simple shift, people may increasingly get the internet delivered as curated messages, instead of scrolling through endless timelines.
