Meta launches Meta Enterprise Platform and hires MongoDB CEO

To lead the initiative, Meta hired Chirantan “CJ” Desai, who was the CEO of MongoDB, a company known for database software (databases are organized storage systems for information, like a very large and searchable filing cabinet). After the news, MongoDB said Dev Ittycheria will serve as interim CEO while it searches for a permanent replacement. MongoDB shares fell more than 17% following Desai’s departure, according to the report.
