Eligible US iPhone owners can file claims in Apple Siri settlement

Now, eligible iPhone owners in the US can submit a claim on the settlement website. The eligible phones include the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and any iPhone 16 model bought between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025.

The settlement estimates a payment of about $25 per eligible device. The website says the amount could rise to as much as $95, depending on how many people file claims. To file, people must enter their name, contact information, and the phone’s serial number, which is a unique ID number for the device (like a car’s VIN). The deadline to submit a claim is December 21, 2026.

Apple has denied wrongdoing. The Verge notes the iPhone 16 shipped with a more limited set of AI features than some customers expected, even though the phone was marketed as “built for Apple Intelligence.” Apple later delayed the upgraded Siri, which The Verge says arrived with iOS 27 earlier this month.
