Sanders brought up the idea of a pause on new AI data centers (the big buildings full of computers that run AI, like warehouses for processing information). Claude said there are tradeoffs and argued for strict rules on consent, limits on data collection, access rights, and transparency instead of a full pause. It also noted that heavy lobbying spending could make delays hard.

Why it matters

The video became a meme, but it also put a simple spotlight on something many people do not see. If detailed profiles guide what you are shown online, they can influence shopping choices and even political views, like a personalized set of billboards that follows you around.
