It can also do common actions more reliably, like playing the exact song or podcast you asked for in your preferred app.

TechCrunch reports these changes were enabled in part by Apple’s partnership with Google, using Google’s Gemini AI models to help train Apple’s own models. An AI model is the software that powers the assistant (like the “brain” behind the words).
