Reports of $25 to $95 payments tied to Apple Intelligence are not backed by an approved settlement. A separate Siri privacy settlement is real but different.
In short: Claims that iPhone owners can already get $25 to $95 for Apple Intelligence are not backed by any court-approved settlement, and the related lawsuit is still ongoing.
Some posts and summaries say iPhone owners can receive $25 to $95 because Apple supposedly oversold “Apple Intelligence,” which is Apple’s set of AI features (software that tries to write, summarize, and answer questions like a helper).
Based on public information so far, there is no verified settlement offering those payments for Apple Intelligence. A class-action lawsuit filed by the Clarkson Law Firm is still in progress. That lawsuit argues Apple marketed certain Apple Intelligence features, especially a more capable Siri, before those features were actually available, and that some customers upgraded devices because of that marketing. Because the case is not settled, there is no confirmed payout amount or timeline.
Separately, there is a real Apple settlement that involves Siri privacy, not Apple Intelligence marketing. Apple agreed to a $95 million settlement over claims that Siri sometimes activated by mistake and recorded private conversations. That settlement described payments up to $20 per device, with a $100 maximum for up to five devices. Even then, the final payment per person could be lower if many people file claims.
When money is involved, misleading “you can claim now” posts can spread quickly. A good rule is to treat settlements like a check from a bank, only trust the official notice or court site, not screenshots or social media summaries.
