Amazon Prime Video’s new prank series stages a fake company retreat around an unaware temp worker. It premiered March 20, 2026.
In short: Amazon Prime Video has released an eight-episode prank series, "Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat," starting March 20, 2026.
Amazon Prime Video premiered "Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat," a new season in the "Jury Duty" universe. The show is a prank series that stages a fake corporate retreat at a family-owned hot sauce company.
Like the original "Jury Duty," the setup is that one person does not know it is a TV production. In this season, that person is Anthony, a temp worker, and nearly everyone around him is an actor playing a coworker.
The story follows a retirement announcement from the CEO, plus pressure from a private-equity group to buy the company. Private equity is a type of investment firm that buys companies, often aiming to make them more profitable and sell them later (like buying a house, renovating it, and flipping it). The show moves the hidden-camera format from a courtroom to meeting rooms and a wilderness campground, with planned chaos like seminars and corporate clashes.
Amazon released the first three episodes on March 20. Two more episodes arrive on March 27, and the finale comes on April 3. The series is included with Prime memberships worldwide.
Prank shows can feel mean, but this series aims for a warmer tone by focusing on how people look for purpose and community at work, even in ridiculous situations. It also taps into a familiar real-world tension, where small companies can face big changes when investors and ambitious leaders push for growth.
